These books would be so good if they were combined.
I used to joke with touch of darkness that the plot of this is “what if the gods were just rich” but fear not, Game of Fates has proved that they’re not just rich - they’re on the brink of WAR.
the stakes are higher, which really brings some much needed plot to these goods. As before, they’re not the best written (the word ‘creamy’ particularly stood out to me as distressing) but they’re so much fun. They’re so camp, dramatic, silly, and the inclusion of other gods and lore really, really helped.
If they were combined, alternating chapters from his and her perspective. It would be SO GOOD.
Of course I’m still going to read them all because they put cocaine in these or something. I can’t stop reading them.
