I have to say this series is actually getting better. I think it has something to do with the focus on Sebastian (Jonathan). I seriously enjoyed every chapter that he is in. I'm just a sucker for the twisted, dark, lonely, and painfully beautiful characters. The whole incestrial tendencies aside (although in this series, I actually find that the most addicting part of the book because of the upbringing and circumstances Sebastian experienced), I find the story with Sebastian and how the progression will likely be in the next book very captivating. The book is slow to build up until the half way point. What I did find disappointing was Alec's character. He has experienced no growth whatsoever. I find him getting more and more annoying as he makes more terrible decisions. I hope he grows up next book and make amends.
