the most realistic depiction of chronic pain i've ever encountered in media. raw, unfiltered, agonizing pain radiates from every page, and miranda - who is pathetically self-obsessed, simultaneously unreliable and completely deserving of our trust, and maniacally committed to every bit - bears it all with very little grace, but so much strength. the writing took a little bit to get used to, but i thought it was perfect for miranda's point of view. extremely tempted to go and read all's well that end's well in her honor. will be revisiting this in the future to annotate because the layers of symbolism were so imaginative and impressive.
