Bailey and the Professor by Selena Kitt

Epic Win ~ Dreams Do Come True

Any story that starts with the words "Epic fail" immediately has my attention. I was in love with Bailey from the opening line to the closing. She's a young woman who isn't a brainless, sex-starved vixen, yet she's no frigid man-hater either. Bailey is twenty-three, studying Chemistry only because it's a prerequisite for her chosen career, and knows she's not going to pass Professor Dominic 'Dom' Jacobs' class since math is her nemesis.

Some people don't do numbers. I get that. I can definitely say that a simple question came into play in this one which anyone should be able to pick up on: hot teacher + eager student = incredibly sexy, fun read.

So much story happened in this short piece! I am always in awe of how fully-realized all of Selena Kitt's characters are and those featured in Bailey and the Professor are no exception. Bailey wants to be a midwife; I wanted to see her succeed as much or more than I wanted to see her cleavage-baring shirts pay off in an attempt to attract attention from Professor Dom. Dom himself is caring, kind, and demanding in a way that isn't overbearing which I found refreshing. There's a lot more to a power play than someone barks orders while someone else scrambles to obey.

I think Selena Kitt did a great job of showcasing that in this short.

It's definitely worth a read. I'm really glad that I got the chance to get a glimpse into Bailey and Dom's happy-ever-after. It really did make me think there was always a way to make sure that one's dreams do come true in spite of whatever obstacles might seem to be there to block one's path.

Five stars from me for a great read filled with great characters!
