I loved this book so much. This is much more my kind of speed than the first book in the series but I love all the characters in this Jacksonville rays universe so much I just can’t wait to read more about them. Emily Rath’s writing style is engaging and funny and her characters are so delightful. Tess and Ryan are wonderful and the ending of this one had me grinning from ear to ear. Didn’t get a full five because I wanted Tess to come back into her power and fight back sooner in the book but that’s more an opinion thing than anything. I will immediately be reading volume 2 of the ever after books and then hitting up Poppy’s story! I found Emily Rath through her political activism and wanted to support her books and want a delightful treat this has been for me to find that they are excellent.
