This book is so wild but won’t leave my mind, and I already picked up another book by Ottessa Moshfegh.  The writing was so disturbing and visceral, but I loved the analysis of religion and characters using their view of God to justify their actions.  The horrific nature of some of those actions had me staring at a wall trying to digest what I had just read.   Somehow it all came together so well, like a twisted, modern Greek tragedy.  Definitely will reread this at some point as I am sure I will notice new things that add to the absurdity that is Lapvona.
