The Griffin Sisters' Greatest Hits by Jennifer Weiner

Did not finish book. Stopped at 30%.
Zoe says she knew her daughter Cherry wasn’t safe around her stepbrother, but then just brushes it off, saying she “shoved it to a dark place of regrets” and got distracted after having more kids.
That’s child endangerment—there’s no excuse for letting a predator around your kid. And gaslighting Cherry, acting like she made it up, when Zoe knew what was happening? Absolutely not.
Why do boomers think this kind of thing is okay to write about like it’s just another plot point we should accept and move on from? It was honestly really disturbing. You can write flawed characters, sure—but not ones who are complicit in child sexual abuse and expect readers to just go along with it.
Also, we get it, you know what reddit is.
