Excessive vulgar words and imagery. Reads as if it’s a female MC written by a man except it’s not. Probably intentional in highlighting the reality of a woman working in a male dominated field, but many of the references felt forced and unnatural. Looking at you, vaginal-looking armchair.

The amount of Toronto/Canada name dropping made me deeply upset. Maybe all books do this and I don’t notice because I don’t know the cities, but it felt forced.
