Medusa by Rosie Hewlett
5.0

This book was so beautiful and moving. I’ve seen the tumbler posts about Medusa and her true story but never though much more of it but this book had put it all into perspective. She is humanised so well that it does not make her a soppy story of a victim but a woman whose rape meant nothing but sadness who couldn’t go anything but one where she was empowered and fought against her oppressors. I love the feminist twist on the greek mythos and I’m here for more of it 100%!!!
