We Contain Multitudes by Sarah Henstra

5.0

"'Let's not be the type of people who are afraid to live because we might die.'"

This book was so beautifully raw and realistic. I genuinely felt as if the characters were real people. Each letter was written so wonderfully and watching their relationship shape and change itself throughout the letter exchanges was extremely fun and intriguing.

This book touches on hard topics, but it's done in a perfect way. Trauma, abuse, PTSD, homophobia, bullying, loss/grief, poverty, college, friendships, love.

I can't believe I let this book sit on my shelf for over a year. I'm glad I finally decided to read it. No regrets.
