The Daughter of Auschwitz by Malcolm Brabant, Tova Friedman

5.0

There are so few published firsthand accounts of what life was like for the Jewish people captured and tortured by the Nazis. This was haunting and at times made me nearly sick to my stomach, but if you know anything about the history then it's nothing new. It's just jarring to hear from someone who was so young at the time. Tova's an absolute trooper raised by incredibly strong people, and it was an honor to hear her own words.
