This book was going to be a 5 star but then the characters (the men) opened their sexist mouths and it happend so much and got so boring that it went right down to 3 stars. I liked the characters in the first 25%, but they are interesting enough to continue.
The writing also feels a bit lazy, like this is a fantasy book, so why isnt it original, its either names of things that are changed a bit or that they are exaclty the same, and also the rules, like, before 30 they have to serve in the kings guard, like come on.
The story is very good, and if the characters were written differently i would def give this a higher rating. But all in all i want to read the next book.
