Layla by Colleen Hoover

About 88% of the time I've read this book, I was angry. Angry at Sable for being such a horrible human, angry at Leeds for preferring a ghost over his girlfriend and also allowing that ghost to possess her body time and time again, angry at Colleen for writing such a strange story that I am not able to put down.

It wasn't my favorite book from her. However, I do see great possibility in this genre for her. Her talent at writing romance stories and her great imagination makes this book such an easy, unputdownable read.

What I didn't like in this book were the characters. They stayed flat almost all throughout the book. There was no development and we didn't get to truly, fully understand the characters' motives, because let's be honest: they all did some pretty messed up sh.t.

I would like to read similar books from her, because as much as it was a torture to read it, I think I want to torture myself with similar stories in the future.. Which is the strangest thing ever. I think this is why I love Colleen's books so much, because they're so haunting and stay with me long after I'm done reading them.
