An Affair Without End by Candace Camp

5.0

This novel!!!!! This one right here was without a doubt my most favorite novel of the entire series!!!
I wish I had a friend as exciting and full of life as Lady Vivian. She is most definitely my favorite female character of any of Candace Camps' novels. She had such a charming quality to her. I loved how much she enjoyed life. I enjoyed reading from her point of view. I loved how much she flounted the traditional conventions of the ton. I loved how she was able to get so easily and thoroughly under Lord Oliver's skin. I think she was the most well developed character of the entire Willowmere series.

I enjoyed seeing how much Lord Oliver's character developed over the course of the novel. He went from such a stiff, one dimensional character to a more relaxed, comfortable character. The arguments between him and Lady Vivian had me laughing the entire time. I loved the chemistry between these two. I loved how reluctant Oliver was to Jump into this mystery. I loved how reserved he was while Vivian just jumped headlong into it. They were a great pair. They balanced each other perfectly.

I was not expecting the ending of this mystery. The one who did it really surprised me. I never would have guessed that was the one at fault. It was amazing how Candace kept me guessing the whole time. I give 5 stars for a well rounded romance novel with the perfect mystery!
