Book 3 in the series made me laugh the most, yet it amplified the suspense of the undertone that weaves through the entire collection.
Bowie and Cassidy finally have their story told. Of course, he's a Bodine, and she is Scarlett's BFF from forever ago. Cassidy is a deputy for the local sheriff's department. And we get to understand why they've never gotten together despite their chemistry in the first two books in the series.
A lot of new evidence and information has come to light regarding Callie Kendall's disappearance, so I obviously have to finish this series to figure out how that ends!
I love the characters and the banter and spice in this one are great.
4.0 solid stars.
