Absalom, Absalom! by William Faulkner
4.0

This was a very hard book to read. Hard! Apparently in the first chapter it tells you the entire plot but Faulkner needed another 340 pages to explain that first chapter. I can see why it's considered one of the greatest American books ever written and I'm very happy I read it. Means I don't have to read it again. But seriously, very good academic book that would be great to study. Not your Sunday afternoon, about to fall asleep, light distraction type of book though. The cider has been earned I think.
