This book just failed to live up to its' potential for me. The concept of a heist competition in which the prize is a wish of your choice held a lot of hope for me. But unfortunately it just fell short. The actual tasks and how they were accomplished were interesting, it was let down by the characters. I found Ross almost eye-rolling at points and so easily manipulated by both her family and those around her. Every time it seemed she was getting close to forming meaningful relationships it all just reset. And the potential for a relationship with her rivall based on the tension was not taken advantage of, instead she fell for the flirty playboy and got betrayed for it. It got points for the premise and the heists and lost it for the characters to be firmly down the middle.
