This is a science fiction book that feels like a fantasy book. I feel like anyone who liked The Name of the Wind might like this.
Overall liked it, intrigued to see where the rest of the series goes. The protagonist is a little annoying sometimes but in a way that feels realistic for someone who, at least at the beginning of the book, is a spoiled teenager.
