Wolf Hall has been a daunting book to pick up for me in the past few years. I've been trying to read through this book multiple times before dropping it, and this is the longest I've gotten through it.
The "plot" of Wolf Hall is slow to say the least. While the prose is beautiful and poetic, it also makes it extremely taxing for me to keep reading through it. Unlike Tolkein, this didn't scratch that itch. Maybe I will revisit this book years after. I will reserve judgement for when I can cross atleast half of this behemoth.
