This audiobook is bonkers.
I’ve never been so engrossed in a book that is so completely not my type like I was this one.
I laughed out loud multiple times.
It’s told from the POV of twin sisters. One of the sisters, Clara, is so self absorbed and absolutely ridiculous that in any other situation I would’ve found her totally insufferable. Jemma has so much baggage with Clara that normally I would’ve been so turned off by her sister issues. But she’s so so sweet and really doing her best to be understanding and patient with Clara.
I cannot find the words to describe how shocked I am by how well Lucy Vine wrote these characters and how amazingly the narrators brought them to life. I will absolutely be recommending this one to book club because I think the discussions would be as completely off the wall as Clara is 😉
Ps also I will be downloading more of Lucy Vine’s books immediately.
