I feel like I'm on the outs with how I feel about this one. Everything just felt so rushed to me.
By chapter 8 they've already fooled around and Chase (mmc) is telling his friends that he really likes her but he doesn't even know her.

Another thing that bothered me about this book was how much they talked about Rix. I understand that Hunting was trying to link this series to her Toronto Terror series but it felt like Rix was brought up in conversation in almost every chapter and she only ended up being in like two chapters. How many times do they need to say she is Cammie's (fmc) older sister's best friend.
It also felt unrealistic that everyone happened to know each other.
Cammie's friend from class already knew her sister & Rix because her dad is secretly the Toronto Terror coach but she also knows Cammie's online friend whom she gets to meet at the end of the book. It just doesn't seem like that would happen at what I'm assuming is supposed to be a fairly large school in Toronto. That's not how life works.

Despite how rushed it was, I did enjoy Chase and Cammie's relationship. It was healthy and they always had good communication. He supported her fan fiction writing without any judgement and she stepped outside of her comfort zone to support him at his hockey games (despite the cold shoulder/bullying she was receiving from the puck bunnies)

Overall, I'm not sure Chase Lovett Wants Me makes me want to pick up another Helena Hunting book.
