our power lies in alliance and sometimes even that isn't enough. loved so much about this yet i felt like the amount of information and philosophical discussions the book offered overshadowed the characters that sometimes felt just a bit flat. wasn't the biggest fan of the ending yet it made complete sense. must read for anyone who is remotely interested in linguistics and (post) colonial theory.
