The Skeleton's Holiday by Leonora Carrington

2.0

I loved the story ‘white rabbits’ because it was just so creepy and weird, and ‘the debutante’ too because it was just dark and strange. The rest were just weird, with not enough darkness for me. I’ve not read a lot of surrealist fiction, but I’ve looked a little at surrealist prose poetry and my conclusion is that it’s basically all the same and is probably a matter of personal taste, I just wish it was all a little consistently darker
