This is my first Mariana Zapata book and people were not kidding,  she is the queen of slow burn. I usually do not like reading slow burn but something about her writing keeps you captivated. This book was like reading a hallmark movie but less cringy. Not one moment was I annoyed with her decisions and that’s so refreshing. Will be checking out more books from this author!
