This book made me cry, made me laugh, made me have an existential crisis, and I loved every second of it. Just as much as it's a romance book, it's a book about the human existence and human connection. A story of two boys falling in love over and over in the span of thousands of years, and rediscovering that connection each time , almost like destiny. A story of sacrifice and suffering, a story of love and belonging. A story that questions our purpose in the universe and what really matters in the end. The most heartbreaking part of the story was about halfway through, when Kodiak dies from radiation poisoning, and Ambrose straps the two of them together before the OS forces them out into space to die. I literally can't write about it without crying. I hope I can love someone that much someday.
