*Exhales* This one was a bit of a doozy, so let’s get right into it🥴
Let me start by saying I absolutely LOVED like 95% of this book🫣 the chemistry and sexual tension was off the charts from the first meeting! Of course when you put a sassy FMC with a grumpy/broody MMC you get a MASTERPIECE!🤭
What makes a book really good for me is when the MCs are just as good and interesting by themselves as they are together. And like I said, the first 95% of this definitely accomplished that😅
I saw a lot of myself in Everly. Being in our late 20’s feeling like we’re behind everyone else in life, not really knowing what the next steps are while everyone else is moving full speed ahead. But once you find your calling it really hits you and I loved that about her character🥹
*sighs* okay so I absolutely ADORED Hux. BIG HOWEVER!!🫣👀 I didn’t like the conflict towards the end or how he handled the situation AT ALL. And I’m not gonna lie, that’s really the only complaint I have about this book😂
And of course, the spice was definitely SPICING more in this one than the last book🤭🥵 it was delicious. I ate it up. For some reason, one night stand spice is hotter than other spice? Until we get to the “oh we’re actually in love spice!” No? Just me? 🥴🫠🥲
Anywho😂 I loved this book so much, but are we really surprised that I’m in love with yet another book by Devney Perry?🙂↕️
