willowsbeach 's review for:
I have enjoyed quite a few books of historical fiction that are written in the diary form. The time and place of this book is similar to one of my favorites, One Thousand White Women. While there was more history in OTWW, this one was more focused on the individual, Sarah Agnes Prine and her difficult journey through the Arizona territories. It also devotes more time to Sarah's love story which is a lovely testament to commitment. I am looking forward to passing this on to my reading buddy, Betsy. She will swallow it up quickly as I did.
