When I tell you I wanted to like this book SO badly, I mean it. Unfortunately, it didn’t feel like the book was fully fleshed out. While the topic at hand is an incredibly important one, especially with today’s current events, the characters were underdeveloped and there were far too many coincidences and plot holes throughout this book. 

With that being said, there were some parts I thoroughly enjoyed and there were plenty of times where the book elicited strong emotions from me.
