A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J. Maas
5.0
I started this book and was only able to read a little at a time after work each day. I sat down today with about 100 pages read and proceeded to DEVOUR the rest.
The first third was a bit slow I’ll admit and has me wondering if it was just a retelling of Beauty and the Beast with a light twist.
Nope.
The further I got, the more unique the story got unto I literally SHOUTED out loud at one point. Deep, dark (this is not a lighthearted read), gorgeous, heartbreaking—I’m chomping at the bit to get my hands on the second one, and I just added a pile of Maas’ books to my “want to read” list.
