I have wanted Adele's book since the first book in this series, and let me tell you, it was everything and more! Adele is a strong FMC. She says what she wants to say. She doesn't hold back, and she protects who she loves. Finn is an amazing single father. He goes after what he wants. Together they are a force of nature.
Let's not forget Merry. She is beyond adorable. She's sassy, and she knows it. I loved how she just wanted Finn to be happy.
I will say, I did not appreciate Finn's hatred towards Clive!
One of my favorite scenes was at the diner when Adele was yelling at everyone.
"You don't get pie."
"Pie is for the kind people who don't gossip about or judge others."
This book wraps up the mystery of the murder of Adele’s father and Henri's accident. It was the perfect ending to the perfect book.
