I love a book with a cast of characters who are all utter disasters. And characters who are just utterly unique and living in weird situations. Everything about this book from the tone to the plot to the characters just felt so fresh, so different to the other YA books I read. It's the magic of Hannah Moskowitz, I'm sure of it. It's gritty and messy and real and I loved it.
