The best part of this series imho. All the novellas were interesting and well-written. They were the perfect length to convey the story without dragging it along too much, as compared to Straight, which was a bit too long. Loved the fighting scenes as well, with the progressive discovery and use of amazing magic powers (mind-reading, mindblades, hyperjumping ).
