“honey and spice” by bolu babalola is hands down the best book i've ever read! it had the perfect balance of spice, humor, fluff, and even heart-shattering moments that left me totally satisfied. as a nigerian woman myself, this book hit home on a whole other level – it was incredibly relatable and realistic, which had me laughing so hard.
bolu babalola's writing style is top-notch! it allowed me to truly understand and connect with kiki and her situation, offering a comforting and immersive reading experience. and oh, don't even get me started on malakai – he has officially set my standards UUUUPPP! he's hands down my favorite character in the entire book.
honestly, “honey and spice” deserves all the love and 5-star ratings it can get. it's a book that i can't recommend enough – a perfect blend of everything i look for in a great read. if you haven't picked it up yet, what are you waiting for?!
