this was good!! i picked it up on a bit of a whim so i really didn’t know what to expect from it but i enjoyed it overall.
i do love a story about a band of misfits and outcasts and this book had plenty of that. i really liked seeing how ada became a member of the hole in the wall gang, and the ups and downs that came with it all. the dynamics between the members were interesting to read about and added a lot to the story.
LOVED how many of the characters were lgbt+ and how that was a pretty common thing within the gang. birds of a feather truly do flock together. i appreciated that ada had a moment of “oh do i like women?…..nah but i don’t care if you do” an ally!
the little bit of romance that ada had was cute even if i wasn’t expecting it right away.
