This book took me a bit to get into, but once it did, it latched onto me and I was invested. I thought both Romeo and Dallas were a bit insufferable, but grew to like and even love them. Romeo is a grump and darkness but we know he loves Dallas before he knows. Dallas is his complete opposite, a ray of sunshine and a bit of a spoiled rich girl. Even though Dallas was spoiled, I felt for her. She was forced into this situation and had no say.

The only thing I wished was that we would have gotten more of Romeo's story throughout the story rather than most of it near the end.

My favourite part of this book was the banter between Romeo and Summer. They matched wits, and Romeo, although frustrated with Dallas, let her get away with things he would never let anyone else get away with.

I also liked Romeo's two friends, Zach and Ollie and look forward to their books!

This was my first read by both Parker S. Huntington and L.J. Shen and I look forward to reading more by them!
