Steph's Outcast
by Ruby Dixon
Steph’s Outcast is book thirteen in the Icehome series by Ruby Dixon. The series needs to be read in order.
Steph is a nice women, who was a therapist and so, she try’s to get everyone to talk things out which gets in the way at times. She’s kind, compassionate, and smart. She is also determined to get the two outcasts Juth and Pak to join the tribe.
Steph and Juth’s story is sweet. It’s filled with communication issues, attraction, and an adorable little kid, Pak. Their relationship is a slower pace and centered around mutual attraction. I liked their interactions. Juth is a great father to Pak and protective of Steph.
Juth’s introduction the tribe life wasn’t smooth; because of prejudices in the clan about Outcasts, but I was glad to see that prejudices change in the characters once they realized how wrong their actions where. We do get a few monsters arrive on the beach and we see that it isn’t as safe as everyone thought. I liked how everyone banded together.
Steph’s Outcast was another fun and enjoyable addition to the Icehome series. I’m looking forward to reading on. If you like Science Fiction Romance; then I recommend picking up Ruby Dixon.
Rated: 4 Stars
