This one was okay, not a favorite of the series but not bad either. Jorik finds his mate while working at the bride processing center and has been working on wooing her for a while. Things do not go as planned and when he saves Gabriella from a robber at her job he ends up being kicked off the planet and sent to an active frontline to fight. He tries to get Gabriella to be able to come with him as his mate but since he did not give her his cuffs and she wasn't part of the system they don't listen. Then he ends up captured on the mission and held for months before escaping. Gabriella has been told he was missing in action and most likely dead so she keeps the fact she is pregnant with his baby a secret. There are a lot of obstacles that get put in front of this two and either misinformation or flat lying to keep them apart. The story was okay but not a favorite of mine in the series. It has intrigue and a little action.
