The Ninth Session by Deborah Serani
4.0

This book was awesome.

There was a lot of character building, and I kept wondering when something was going to happen and then it did, and it rekindled the story for me.

At the very beginning of this book, there were a few "jump scares" that alluded to things that were going to happen in the future. A few of them I was able to guess, but MANY of them were surprises.

There is a twist that drew out the ending and made me think something would happen, but it didn't. I had to reread the end a few times to see if I lost something, but it seems like it was a cliffhanger. It would have been awesome if there was more of an ending.

Guess I'll just have to get the follow up when it's released.
