The Red Scrolls of Magic by Wesley Chu, Cassandra Clare

3.0

3/5***

It was nice. Not bad, really it wasn't. But just after reading TDA and the others before, this was weaker. Which, of course it was. For a short interims series in between TMI there can't be that high stakes because otherwise we'd heard of them.

We met some beloved characters, got to know Malec more and learned a little about the past and the future plot in the Chronicles.

The Villian was rather predictable and for me it was more a novelty book about the further lifes of characters we love. Kind of like ACOFAS.

It was enjoyable but that's it.

Love it still.

Merry meet and merry part and merry meet again.
