This book will piss you off and open your eyes. If there had to be one quote to sum it up, it would be this: “women are trained to see ourselves as cheap imitations of fashion photographs, rather than seeing fashion photographs as cheap imitations of women”. It’s so heartbreakingly true. The only drawback of this book is that it is very dense and I found the phraseology to be challenging at times.
