Well, this was heavily disappointing.
I felt like i could not connect with the characters and did not feel any emotion whatsoever.
The main character, Marin was someone I did not care about.
This felt dull and disappointing, even the truth of aspects about her grandpa and what happened in the past were underwhelming to me.
I wanted to love this so much, though I will admit, the queer rep was unexpected and a suprise though I wish there was more of it.
There is also some racial diversity in this book which is always good to see.
The writing was average, nothing special in my book.
