While faced with Devon Sawyer, holding onto rationality was damn near impossible.
Devon & Maddox are dirt bike enemies.
Each of them have grown up in the trailer park of Garron Park and each of them has their own family drama and trauma to deal with. They hate one another but are forced to deal with each others company due to not only the small size of their town, but also the fact that their brothers are best friends.
When Devon experiences a heightened trauma due to his abusive father, he has to lean on Maddox to help get back on his feet.
Now when you read this, you'll forever think of this book as the definition of enemies to lovers, because it damn well is.
