All Hearts Come Home for Christmas by Sarah M. Eden

4.0

This compilation of stories by 4 best-selling authors is a heart-warming read. I couldn't put the book down and finished it in about 4 hours.
Sarah M. Eden revisits the Duke of Kielder where his mom visits for Christmas. This story centers on forgiveness, family and finding love and happiness. I love the Duke of Kielder and his family, so this was very fun to revisit their story.
Anita Stansfield's story is about Addie Moore, who works in a dress shop and is down on her luck. That all changes when she meets Theodore Hardwick who is in need of someone to care for his daughter as well as cook and clean for his household. They find comfort and peace through each other's companionship and discover that together they can be happy.
Esther Hatch has written a charming story about Elizabeth who is forced to meet every possible eligible bachelor by her mother. She detests the many gatherings that she is expected to attend during the Season and comes up with an impulsive plan to get out of future events. What follows is a humorous and lighthearted story of love in all it's unexpected forms.
Joanna Barker re-introduces Nell Addington and Jacob Hammond after a 5-year absence. Nell is an answer to prayer as she helps Jacob's sister heal and rediscover herself after her unfeeling father passes away. Together they create Christmas traditions and help each other heal from various hurts of the past.
All of these stories were so sweet. Throughout the course of this book, I laughed and cried. I highly recommend this book if you need a little pick-me-up, even if it's not Christmas time.
