A Big Boy Did It and Ran Away by Christopher Brookmyre

3.0

This is the one where Agent X goes after the bad terrorist. Brookmyre's stellar wit and social commentary is well in play, as well as his appreciation for the absurd and the banter.

One particularly effective part of the book is where he describes a series of incidents first-person through a series of characters. After you realize something that exposes an assumption and then he uses that to play on your sympathy.

I always enjoy his books.
