This book caused me to roll my eyes too many times. I have the same complaints about it that I did about [b:The Golden Braid|25290956|The Golden Braid (Hagenheim, #6)|Melanie Dickerson|https://images.gr-assets.com/books/1442837830s/25290956.jpg|44516576], which is by the same author and from the same series. In general, I love fairy tale retellings, but this one (The Frog Prince) didn't work out for me. This book is set in a medieval time, but the characters' actions and thoughts are 100% contemporary Christian.
Also, excessive eye-rolling (from me) going on for most of the book. The heart palpitations! The brushing up against one another! The overthinking about the relationship! The almost kissing and then not! I can stand this kind of stuff for a few pages, but not for half the book!
The good: I listened to this as an audio book, and the narrator was quite good.
I have one more of this series on my reading list. I'm not sure whether I'll go there or not.
