Okay so here's the thing. This book is just so boring. And then Jacob is so icky. And Smeyer's treatment of the Quileute is horrible.

There are enough moments in this book to make it not unbearable, but really we're all just here for Rosalie's backstory. The two stars are exclusively for Rose.
