Jekel Loves Hyde by Beth Fantaskey

2.0

I wasn't too impressed with this book. It wasn't bad enough that I couldn't finish, cause I did finish, but it isn't really something I enjoyed. The characters got a little annoying for me. I got tired of all the drama. I felt like Tristan needed to be a little more manly with his emotions. I mean, he was manly for everything else, but his emotions were sappy. Jill's character was ok, but I got tired of her towards the end as well. I think Jill made some really dumb decisions that didn't fit with her intellectual character. There were bits of "fluff" in the writing that I didn't like. I felt like the author was trying to be very poetic or artsy, but it just distracted and got in the way of the things, and it just didn't really fit in. The whole concept was interesting, and I think the book had a lot of potential.
