Rodrick Rules
by Jeff Kinney
Greg is definitely not a role model protagonist. He's always coming up with ways to get out of his responsibilities and while his plans, their implementation and (usual) failure, is comical and meant to be fun, he's still a jerk.
I like the family dynamics, though they are cliché, but I find Greg's moments with his family to be the most hilarious parts of the series. Manny is only a three-year-old, but he's already so chaotic.
This is one of those breezy, light-hearted and fun books that I enjoy while reading, but unfortunately, I still haven't laughed out loud.
