V.B. Lacey has written another fantastic romantasy.
I really liked Clarissa in supporting character role for In The Wake of The Wicked, but I LOVED her as a FMC in Of the Curse or the Crown. Rissa is regal, strong, and brave and fights for what she believes is right. And how could we not fall in love with Thorne, the MMC. He's smart, funny, and there for Rissa when she needs him. Rissa and Thorne have fantastic banter and chemistry in this book. I enjoyed the twists, turns, and surprises throughout this book.
I'm looking forward to how this book set us up for book 3!
