The Angel's Game by Carlos Ruiz Zafón
4.0

I havent read "The Shadow of the Wind" yet, so I have nothing to compare this book to from the Ruiz Zafon.
The book is basically about a guy called David Martin, who in desperating for work, sells himself to the devil. (I think...)
Corelli is realy well done, you really can't understand him. The book is really confusing at times though, and I'm still not entirely sure of what really happened, but this is possibly what Ruiz Zafon intended.
The body count by the end is MASSIVE, and the methods of dying got more and more inventive as it continued.
Isabella is one of the best characters I've seen in a long time, I really liked her, and hated Cristina (definately sure I wasnt supposed to have that reaction to her though).
You really feel the book, the way the author has written it makes you live and breathe in 1920's Barcelona. You almost feel cold and alone just reading it, and the Tower House was one of the scariest images in the book.
Overall, this book was hard to get through, but something about it makes you keep reading. If you like books that make you feel colder than you were to begin with, this is for you. Not sure I'm like that, but I still enjoyed it overall.
